The 12AT7 tube has short plates to help reduce microphonics and noise. The 12AT7 tube type is equivalent to the European ECC81 tube and can be used in any 12AT7 or ECC81 circuit. The Tungsol 12AT7-W / 6201 tube is great for phase inverters and reverb drivers.
