I wanted to upgrade from my guitar that I've been learning on. This Washburn fits my need, and as a recreational player, exceeds my need. I'm primarily a bassist, so this may not be as nuanced as an experienced guitar player. The first thing is that fit, finish, and appearance are top notch. I looked it over for anything that could be called a defect and came up with nothing. It's a beauty. Functionally, it's easier to play than my old guitar which means I'm looking forward to practicing and playing more. The neck feels a bit thicker than I expected, but that's not a problem. I'm getting used to it easily. Overall, I'm pretty darned happy. This guitar is a keeper for me.
This was my first time buying from Pineville Music. I was looking for this guitar online through one of the other big name online retailers, but it was out of stock. In my continuing search I found Pineville and decided to try them. I was used to equipment shipping the same day from other sources and after a day or two inquired about a shipping number. My customer service rep was Charles and he explained that the guitar was going through QC and setup before being shipped. Setup? That was unexpected. Other retailers I've dealt with charged extra for that. I was pleasantly surprised. When it shipped Charles got me the tracking number and everything went perfect. The next time I'm in the market for equipment I'll definitely be coming back to Pineville.
