Universal Audio Teletronix LA-2A Classic Leveling Amplifier (Hardware)

This is not a plugin — it is the hardware LA-2A, hand-built by Universal Audio to the original Teletronix design: tube amplification with the T4 electro-optical cell whose two-stage, program-dependent release is the reason engineers have reached for it on vocals and bass for sixty years. Operation is the whole appeal: a gain knob, a peak-reduction knob, and a switch. It flatters almost anything and refuses to be set wrong.

The reference every LA-2A emulation is measured against, in the rack instead of the DAW.
