Universal Audio Apollo Twin X QUAD Gen 2 Thunderbolt 3 Interface, Essentials+

The Apollo Twin X is Universal Audio's desktop interface, and this is the Gen 2 QUAD: two Unison preamps that model the input impedance and gain staging of classic Neve, API, and other preamps, converters upgraded again from the previous generation, and four UAD DSP cores so you can track through UA's compressors, EQs, and preamp emulations with no latency and print them if you want. Thunderbolt 3, 2 in and 6 out, with two headphone outs and a talkback mic.

Gen 2 adds Auto-Gain (it sets your input level), a bass management output for a sub, and cleaner converters. The Essentials+ edition ships with the Analog Classics plugin bundle. Check the current UA website for which plugins are included, as bundles change.
