Central to the Vintage Series is the innovative use of rounded bearing edges on all drums, which harkens back to the 'old SONOR sound'. Originally introduced in 1975, the 45-degree bearing edge remains a hallmark of SONOR’s exceptional design, now featured across the SQ2, Prolite, and Force series. The Vintage Series further enhances the drumming experience, providing musicians with a versatile range of sounds that are distinctly SONOR. Each drum is meticulously crafted from 9-ply, 6 mm cross-laminated tension-free (CLTF) Beech shells, ensuring both resonance and stability.
