The chromatic add-on box for Sonor's TAKM 10 tenor-alto metallophone. It holds the seven bars the diatonic instrument is missing (the C#s, D#s, and G#s; the F#s and Bbs are already on the main instrument), and sits behind it like the black keys on a piano. With both, the metallophone plays in any key, which is the difference between an Orff instrument and a mallet instrument a middle-school band can actually use.
