PDP Limited Edition 20-Ply Maple/Walnut 8x14 Snare Drum, Natural Satin

The deep one: 8" x 14", the biggest of PDP's limited-run 20-ply maple and walnut snares. Twenty plies is a very thick shell, and it plays like one: loud, focused, and dry. At 8" deep the fundamental drops and the drum gets a huge, fat backbeat with a long low note under the crack, the sound for slow rock, big-room worship, and anyone who tunes low. Walnut in the ply stack takes the edge off the maple's brightness.
