STOMP-BOX AMP MODELER

The Amp Academy is a compact stomp-box enclosure with NUX's TSAC-2K algorithm, providing the sound and feel of tube amplifiers in a portable format. It offers a wide dynamic range and ample headroom, making it pedal-friendly.

On Stage

• Add Amp Academy to your pedal chain and connect it to a mixer or PA system for excellent tone, control, and flexibility during live performances.
• Monitor your sound through in-house monitoring systems or in-ear monitors.
• For a dedicated on-stage monitor, connect your pedalboard to a powered FRFR speaker.

In Studio

• Connect Amp Academy directly to a recording interface for instant, high-quality guitar tone without the need for setting up amps or microphones.
• (Toggle IR OUT switches to UP position if you want to use the IR signal for 1/4" out. If you want to engage/disengage the IR signal with DI OUT, hold the A/B foot switch and power the pedal. IR ON: A/B indicators will flash 3 times. IR OFF: A/B indicators will NOT flash.)

Silent Practice

• Connect headphones or monitors directly to Amp Academy's 1/8" PHONE OUT to experience immersive classic amp tones in a natural-sounding room without the need for an amp.

AMP MODELS & IR

• Amp Academy features 6 legendary amp models: Vintage, Classic, Modern, Brown, Red, and Iridium. These models provide realistic amp feel and fast playability response.
• 1024-sample IR resolution with 3rd party IR loader capacity allows you to bring your favorite amp sound anywhere.
• Note: 6 IR slots (with Amp slots), 12 Choptones custom IRs + 16 user slots 32bit/48kHz (AmpAcademy editor will automatically convert WAV format). You can get 10 free factory IRs while downloading the editing software.
• Amp Academy editor offers an IR loader with user-friendly tweaking options like Level, Low Cut, and High Cut. It also automatically converts WAV format.

A/B AMP Footswitch & Scene Footswitch

• The A/B footswitch allows you to switch between clean and crunch amp styles instantly.
• The SCENE footswitch can toggle between SCENE1, SCENE2, and SCENE3 sequentially, allowing you to save custom block engagements with 3 scenes.
