Luna's Vintage Mahogany cajon: a mahogany front plate on a birch body, in a distressed brown burst finish that looks like it has been on the road for a decade already. Mahogany gives the front a warm, deep bass with a softer slap than bamboo or maple, and the birch body keeps it sturdy. A lever with an aluminum knob switches the internal snare on or off.
