Latin Percussion LP3504 11" Aluminum Ganza Shaker, Double Chamber

A Brazilian ganza, 11" (28 cm), in aluminum. The metal shell gives a high, cutting hiss that is the point of a ganza: it is the shaker that reads over a samba bateria or a rock rhythm section where a plastic egg disappears. The double chamber divides the fill so each stroke has a defined front and back, which is what keeps a sixteenth-note pattern crisp instead of smeared.
