Kuppmen CFDS5A Carbon Fiber 5A Drum Sticks

Carbon fiber drumsticks in a standard 5A profile, for players who go through wood faster than they'd like. The CFDS5A won't chip on the rims or splinter at the shoulder the way hickory does, and every pair is the same weight, so there's no sorting through the bin for a matched set. Rebound is a little livelier than wood and the sound off cymbals is slightly brighter, which some players like right away and others take a set or two to get used to.

Made by Kuppmen in the Netherlands. Same 16" length as a typical 5A hickory stick. Sold in pairs.

• 5A: 16" long, 14.2 mm diameter
