Kuppmen CFDR5B Carbon Fiber 5B Drum Rods

Rods are for when full sticks are too loud and brushes are too quiet. The usual problem is that wooden rods start splintering and dropping dowels after a few weeks. Kuppmen's CFDR5B is an 8-rod bundle made from carbon fiber instead of birch, so the rods stay intact and the bundle stays tight. Same 16" length and roughly 5B-size grip as a standard rod, with a bit more rebound and a cleaner attack than wood.

Good for acoustic gigs, worship, jazz combos, and practice rooms with thin walls. Made by Kuppmen in the Netherlands.
