Jupiter XO 1602S-R Professional Bb Trumpet, Reverse Leadpipe, Silver

Jupiter's XO 1602 is their professional Bb trumpet, and the S-R is the silver-plated, reverse-leadpipe version. A reverse leadpipe (the tuning slide fits over the leadpipe rather than into it) removes a gap in the airway near the mouthpiece, which players feel as a more open blow and quicker response, the reason it is the set-up many lead and commercial players ask for.

It comes with more choice than most horns in the box: two sets of valve springs (regular and light-action) and two sets of bottom valve caps (standard and heavyweight), so you can tune the feel and the resistance yourself. Elliptical and rounded tuning slides, pearl-inlaid buttons, a first-valve thumb saddle, and a third-valve ring with an adjustable stop. Ships in the XO Tourlite case.
