Gretsch G5222 Electromatic Double Jet BT with V-Stoptail, Aged Natural

The Double Jet is Gretsch's double-cutaway Jet, and the Electromatic G5222 is the one built to a working price. A chambered mahogany body with a maple top keeps it lighter than a solid Jet and adds a little air to the tone; the two Broad'Tron humbuckers are Gretsch's fatter, more modern pickup, with more output and low end than a Filter'Tron but still the chime on top. It is the Gretsch for players who want that voice in a rock band rather than a rockabilly trio.

Mahogany neck with a laurel board, V-stoptail (no Bigsby to fight), and the Aged Natural finish shows the wood.
