DW Collector's Cherry 4-Piece Lacquer Custom Shell Pack Natural With Chrome Hardware

DW's Collector's Series is the flagship line of custom drums made in the USA. These drums feature 8-ply 100% cherry shells with HVLT construction, combining a vertical low timbre with a horizontal outer ply. This unique construction delivers a punchy, warm tonality with excellent resonance and high-end clarity. The Collector's Cherry drums are versatile, offering a wide tuning range and suitable for various musical styles.

One of the standout features of this shell pack is DW's patented STM (suspension tom mount) system. The STM allows each drum to vibrate freely, maximizing resonance while securely holding the drum in place. With no washers or grommets inhibiting the lug rod receiver, the risk of choking is reduced, and tuning becomes effortless.

DW's True-Pitch rod system provides drummers with even more control over their sound. The rods feature 5mm threads, compared to the standard 12/24 threads found on most other drums. This means there are more threads per inch, allowing for more precise tuning adjustments.
