14" Dark Matter hi-hats: dry and articulate, every sixteenth distinct, and they record like a dream — the trashy darkness reads as character on a mic rather than wash. Bottom cymbal and bells left unlathed before the re-firing.

Dark Matter is Dream's re-fired series: micro-lathed by hand, then put back in the fire, which darkens the bronze and roughens the surface. Dry, dark, and trashy in the good sense. Hand-made, so no two are identical.
