Dream Cymbals CHAU20 Chau Black Dot Gong, 20"

A 20" Chau gong from Dream, hand-hammered bronze with the traditional black-lacquered centre dot. The Chau is the gong you hear in film scores and Chinese opera: strike it and the note swells for a second or two before it peaks, then hangs. At 20" it needs a proper stand, and gives a fuller, slower bloom with more low end. Mallet and stand sold separately.
