British Drum Co. Firebird 14" x 6" Copper-Over-Brass Snare Drum

The Firebird is British Drum Co. at their most theatrical: a 14" x 6" copper-over-brass shell whose surface is literally scorched, so every drum wears its own fire pattern. Brass gives the fat, dark crack; the copper skin adds complexity. BDC ships it with two complete sets of hoops — triple-flange for open, ringing backbeats and vintage single-flange for a drier, older voice — so it is genuinely two snares. Inside, laser-engraved artwork and a vent badge tell the drum's namesake story. A centrepiece instrument.
