Sennheiser MKH 8018 Stereo Shotgun RF Condenser Microphone

The MKH 8018 does a job that normally takes two microphones and a rig: it is a shotgun with stereo capture built in, so a single mic on a boom or a stand delivers both the directional reach of a shotgun and a real sense of space around it. Field recordists and film crews use it for ambiences and action that need to feel located, not just heard.
