Sennheiser HD 490 PRO Plus Open-Back Reference Headphones, Extra Cable and Pads

The HD 490 PRO is Sennheiser's open-back studio reference headphone, built for mixing and mastering rather than listening for pleasure: a flat, uncoloured response, and the wide, dimensional soundstage of an open design, so you can place things in a mix and hear what a compressor is actually doing. Two sets of ear pads ship with it, each with a slightly different tuning (one for producing, one for mixing), and the Plus package adds a second cable, a second set of pads, and a hard carry case.

Comes with the dearVR MIX-SE plugin, which puts a virtual mixing room around the headphones so mixes translate to speakers. Washable, replaceable pads and FSC-certified packaging.
