The Hammered Dulcimer produces a beautiful, rich, full sound that is unique to this instrument. The percussive sound of the mallets (or hammers) striking the strings creates a vibrant energy that sets it apart from other string instruments.

• 10/9 hammered dulcimer - 10 strings on the treble bridge, 9 strings on the bass bridge
• Recommended tuning: Traditional Fifth Interval Tuning
• Solid lacewood soundboard with rosewood rosette featuring a vine and leaf pattern
• Rosewood pin blocks, rails, and back with a carrying "handle" opening
• 1" spacing strings tuned with "T" shaped tuning tool
• Color coded saddles on lacewood bridges for easier playability
• Includes one pair of two sided dulcimer hammers - lacewood with rosewood trim and leather pads for softer sound
