The plug-on transmitter from Sennheiser's EW-DP camera line: clip it onto the end of any XLR microphone and that mic is wireless — the boom op's and run-and-gun interviewer's tool — and a 3.5 mm input takes a lavalier directly. Fully digital UHF with a 134 dB dynamic range, so hot sources don't clip it. Up to 12 hours on a charge, magnetic stackable mounting, and monitoring from the Smart Assist app.
