DigiTech DOD 250-X Overdrive Preamp Pedal

The DOD 250 is one of the original overdrive/preamps — the gritty yellow box on countless 70s and 80s records — and the 250-X is its tenth iteration. The LM741 op-amp keeps the vintage voice, and a three-way switch expands it: OG SILICON for the classic symmetrical clip, ASYM for a looser, more amp-like breakup, and LIFT to run it as a clean-to-dirty boost in front of an already-cooking amp. Feed it 18V and it opens up further.
