Aria 313-MK2 Detroit Electric Bass, Ash Body, Open Pore Natural

The Detroit is Aria's modern P/J bass: an ash body in open-pore natural — the grain left touchable — with a roasted maple neck (stiffer and more stable than plain maple) on a heel-less joint for the top of the 24-fret board. Alnico 5 pickups in the classic P-at-the-neck, J-at-the-bridge layout, blended with a balancer knob, through a Wilkinson bridge. A great deal of bass for the money.
