Description

Precision Music Technologies V-Treb – Variable Treble Bleed Bypass Circuit

Made in the USA, the V-Treb Variable Treble Bleed Bypass Circuit by Precision Music Technologies is a powerful solution for the common problem of high-frequency losses at reduced volumes. It is designed to be attached to the bottom of any volume pot and enables the player to control the tone's brightness or warmth as the volume control is decreased.

Rotating the trim pot clockwise amplifies the amount of treble bypass, leading to a brighter sound even at reduced volumes. On the other hand, turning the trim pot counter-clockwise diminishes the amount of treble bypass, resulting in a warmer tone at reduced volumes. When the volume is at its maximum (10), the V-Treb is disconnected from the circuit and does not impact the sound.

Key Features:

  • Corrects the problem of high-frequency losses at reduced volumes
  • Allows the player to control the tone's brightness or warmth as the volume control is decreased
  • Turning the trim pot clockwise increases the amount of treble bypass for a brighter sound at reduced volumes
  • Turning the trim pot counter-clockwise reduces the amount of treble bypass for a warmer tone at reduced volumes
  • With the volume at 10, the V-Treb is removed from the circuit and does not affect the sound
